An update on the University of Alaska Anchorage chancellor search

The ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓA Chancellor Selection Committee recently shared the attributes under consideration for selecting the next ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓA Chancellor. The attributes and other information can be found at /pres/uaa-chancellor/index.php.

Members of the ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓA community were asked to provide feedback on this list via a feedback form that closed on Feb. 17. 

The committee plans to post the final prospectus on the web page next week. The ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓA chancellor search website will be regularly updated with more information. 

President Pitney intends to name a Chancellor for the University of Alaska Anchorage by the end of April 2021. That appointment will be made in consultation with the ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓ Board of Regents and in accordance with ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓ policies, procedures, and regulations.
